The Morning Of June 6th, 1944

My Dad was at Normandy, as he was at Dunkirk. As he was in Tobruk, Western Desert Campaign, eventually a great Allied Victory, and as he was in Europe, including the relief of Belsen. He was my hero, and still is, at my age. “Do not call me a hero” is the message. But he was mine. He’s in this group, just for me to know.

They were all heroes.
