As Roger Blaxall of QLocal was relating the news that the Town Green Co-op now employs a security guard because of anti-social behaviour by young people, questions are being asked what the Aughton & Downholland Tory councillors and the Parish councillors are doing to engage local police to deal with it.
Only last week we saw the new Tory Police and Crime Commissioner Snowdon outside the Co-op, with some of the useless local councillors. So what did the new PCC learn from his visit? Probably just as much as his predecessor, he’ll need to turn up at the Old Cock & Bull for the Aughton Parish Meeting, give a bullshit address, and then hold out the begging bowl for more cash.
“As Commissioner, Andrew “is committed to tacking antisocial behaviour“ and he refers to “the neighbourhood policing team’s presence in the area”…of Blackpool.
“During his first week in post, Andrew has been out across Lancashire, talking to local officers and the public about policing and his key priorities to get tough on criminals, tackle anti social behaviour, and keep people safe”.
We need neighbourhood police to come over the railway crossing at Town Green Station from the Aughton Police Station to the Co-op. It couldn’t be much closer!
As for the parents? From the Ormskirk & Rural West Lancs Police Facebook 12 January. Thomas Timesup. Try being in aughton with the amount of youths running wild Tonight! If you own a child roughly 15/16yrs of age that looks like sideshow bob then shame on you.
