The West Lancashire Ormskirk & Southport NHS Trust hospitals announced two new people had a confirmed positive test result reported on 17th May.

Between 11th May 2021 and 17th May 2021, 14 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows an increase of 16.7% compared to the previous 7 days.

There were no deaths within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported on 17th May 2021.

Between 11th May 2021 and 17th May 2021, there have been 0 deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test. This shows no change compared to the previous 7 days.

The Number of Covid Vaccinations In West Lancashire CCG

In NHS West Lancashire CCG, a total of 106,987 cumulative doses have been given up to May 9th.

16-39 age group

8,974 people in the 16-39 age group have been given a first dose of a Covid vaccine, which equates to 27.8% of that age group’s population.

Another 4,046 people have been given a second dose, which is 12.5% of that age group’s population.

40-44 age group

4,447 people in the 40-44 age group have been given a first dose of a Covid vaccine, which equates to 80.5% of that age group’s population.

Another 1,290 people have been given a second dose, which is 23.3% of that age group’s population.

45-49 age group

5,905 people in the 45-49 age group have been given a first dose of a Covid vaccine, which equates to 78.3% of that age group’s population.

Another 1,733 people have been given a second dose, which is 23.0% of that age group’s population.

50-54 age group

7,691 people in the 50-54 age group have been given a first dose of a Covid vaccine, which equates to 91.9% of that age group’s population.

Another 2,475 people have been given a second dose, which is 29.6% of that age group’s population.

55-59 age group

8,304 people in the 55-59 age group have been given a first dose of a Covid vaccine, which equates to 100% of that age group’s population.

Another 3,041 people have been given a second dose, which is 36.7% of that age group’s population.

60-64 age group

7,291 people in the 60-64 age group have been given a first dose of a Covid vaccine, which equates to 100% of that age group’s population.

Another 3,849 people have been given a second dose, which is 53.5% of that age group’s population.

65-69 age group

6,375 people in the 65-69 age group have been given a first dose of a Covid vaccine, which equates to 97.3% of that age group’s population.

Another 5,403 people have been given a second dose, which is 82.5% of that age group’s population.

70-74 age group

6,868 people in the 70-74 age group have been given a first dose of a Covid vaccine, which equates to 99.1% of that age group’s population.

Another 6,573 people have been given a second dose, which is 94.8% of that age group’s population.

75-79 age group

5,145 people in the 75-79 age group have been given a first dose of a Covid vaccine, which equates to 100% of that age group’s population.

Another 4,990 people have been given a second dose, which is 99.9% of that age group’s population.

80 and over age group

6,500 people in the 80 and over age group have been given a first dose of a Covid vaccine, which equates to 95.1% of that age group’s population.

Another 6,087 people have been given a second dose, which is 89.0% of that age group’s population.
