OWL Reveals Details Of Wheatsheaf Walk Increasing Costs

“Finally, we got the cost of the Wheatsheaf Walk project including the demolition of the ‘pagoda’ published this morning – only 8 weeks late! Apparently a computer glitch!

The cost has gone up another £8,000 with no explanation. Originally the project was going to cost £70,000 and that’s the figure published in all the public reports”.

Question? How often has the WLBC computer system “glitched” and does it operate “selective” glitches?

The new figute is £178,000 or £108,000 higher than councillors were led to believe it would cost. No official report back to coucillors to seek re-approval. Shocking way to run things.
