In the Tory election news circulated in Aughton under “Infrastructure Levy“.

“At present, the majority of the Levy is at the discretion of the ruling Labour Group and likely to be spent in Skelmersdale on their pet projects”.

CIL? Just for the record, the Aughton Parish Council reported in 2018 “The Borough Council will provide 50% match funding for this [SPID] scheme with a maximum contribution of £3,000”.

    These comments are out of date I believe as a considerable amount of CIL money looks as if it has been spent in 2021.(Feb Minutes)
