The Ormskirk & Southport NHS Trust hospitals have notified only 2 new people had a confirmed positive coronavirus test result reported today, 1st April 2021.
Between 26th March 2021 and 1st April 2021, 57 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows a decrease of 25% compared to the previous 7 days. The West Lancashire total is 8,867, that’s 7,757.2 infections per 100,000 of our community. Areas with three or fewer cases include Ormskirk North and West, and Scarisbrick, Halsall and Haskayne.
Sadly there was 1 death within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported today, 1st April 2021.
