In our West Lancashire Ormskirk & Southport NHS Trust hospitals, 25 new people had a confirmed positive coronavirus test result reported on 2nd March 2021. Between 24 February 2021 and 2 March 2021, 112 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows a decrease of 28.7% compared to the previous 7 days.

There were 2 deaths within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported on 2^nd March 2021. Between 24^th February 2021 and 2^nd March 2021, there have been 5 deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test. This shows a decrease of 28.6% compared to the previous 7 days.

We are believed to have lost 398 members of our community, awaiting confirmation from Public Health England.
