The West Lancashire Ormskirk & Southport NHS Trust hospitals have reported 49 new cases of coronavirus infections today. The cumulative total is now 7,995 cases, that’s 6,994.4 per 100,000 of the population.
Sadly there was 1 death reported within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus, on 7 February 2021. Between 1 February 2021 and 7 February 2021, there have been 10 deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test. This shows an increase of 25% compared to the previous 7 days.
