West Lancashire reports an increase of 68 coronavirus infections at its Ormskirk & Southport Hospital NHS Trust hospitals today. The cumulative number is now 6,286 infections, that’s now 5,499.3 infections per 100,000 of our population. West Lancashire has suffered an increase of 599 new infections in seven days, an increase of 106.6% over the previous week.
Sadly one person lost their life at our West Lancashire Ormskirk & Southport Hospital NHS Trust on Friday. We have now lost 290 members of our community.
