News has reached us that while the United Kingdom’s coronavirus lockdown was baaahd for humans who wanted to play a round of golf, it was good for flocks of sheep, as the animals were taking over a golf course!
Check out this flock of sheep roaming free at the Avington Park Golf Course in Winchester.
There’s about 100 sheep setting up shop on the links, roaming and grazing on grass at the prestigious 32-acre golf course.
The UK was under a strict coronavirus lockdown, and the restrictions barred people from taking hacks on golf courses. But these sheep are making a case as essential workers, because they’re pretty much taking over the role of greens keepers!
This is clearly a cheap option for the Beacon Park Golf Course leaseholders, Serco Leisure Operating Ltd, relying on council employees to maintain some semblance of course maintenance?
