West Lancashire has recorded another 10 cases of coronavirus infections today at the Ormskirk & Southport NHS Trust hospitals. West Lancashire has now reached a total of 854 infections, that’s 747.1 cases per 100,000 of the population.
Lancashire has recorded a massive 198 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the new public health data. No deaths from coronavirus were reported in the county.
The figure represents the biggest daily rise since Pillar 2 data (drive-through test centres and swabs sent by post) started to be including in the daily update from Public Health England.
