On 16th May 2018 the WLBC Solicitor Terry Broderick served a “Breach of Condition Notice Reference E/2015/0223/BCN” above, against Serco Leisure Operating Limited that required compliance with stated conditions for the land at Beacon Park Golf Centre.
The requirement was that “You remove all excess material placed on the land hatched black on Plan 2 dated 11 May 2018 to provide the land profile as defined…and contoured site plan all shown…received by the Local Planning Authority on 13 July 2011”.
Time for compliance, six months beginning on the day on which this notice is served on you. Dated 16th May 2018.
In September 2020, does this look like compliance?
Nothing above looks like compliance. What hold does Serco Leisure Operating Ltd have over the entire West Lancashire Borough Council that allows this disgrace to continue? The warning of an offence at risk of immediate prosecution in the Magistrates Court, maximum penalty of £2,500, when the landfill royalty income shared out was in the £millions, was of small consequence to outsourcing companies like Serco.
Perhaps someone with the balls to enforce what should have occurred on 16th November 2018 wasn’t supported, leaving us with the calamity course that you can see today.
