Once again today, West Lancashire has no recorded deaths from Corid-19. The total losses remain at 149.

The residential area between Ormskirk and Aughton, containing Aughton Park railway station, is the at most risk area in the NHS West Lancashire region. With 1,432 residents in the area in and around Long Lane, Prescot Road, Black Moss Lane, and New Lane, 12 general care hospitalisations per 1,000 people are expected in the event of a second wave. A further five acute care hospitalisations per 1,000 residents is also expected.

To the immediate west of Ormskirk town centre is the second most at risk area in the West Lancashire NHS region. With a population of 1,079 in the area including Cottage Lane, Redgate, Redwood Drive, and Beechwood Drive, 12 general care hospitalisations per 1,000 people are expected in a second wave. A further 4.8 acute care hospitalisations per 1,000 residents has also been predicted.
