Skelmersdale and Ormskirk Town and East are among our neighbourhoods hardest hit by the coronavirus tragedy in Lancashire, official new figures have revealed. A new interactive map, created by the Office for National Statistics, reveals the true scale of Covid-19 deaths across our region.
There have been 18 deaths in Ormskirk Town and East. Ormskirk North and West records 5 deaths. Aughton records 6 deaths. Bickerstaffe & Newburgh records 3 deaths.
Skelmersdale West records 10 deaths, Skelmersdale Central 11 deaths, Skelmersdale East 5 deaths, Skelmersdale South East 6 deaths, and Skelmersdale Ashurst records 6 deaths.
Parbold, Appley Bridge & Wrightington record 6 deaths.
