Rosie Cooper Votes Aye

Division number 291 in the House of Commons

Business of the House (Section 13(1)(B) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018) (No. 2)
A majority of MPs voted to say that a Minister must table a motion within three sitting days considering the process of exiting the European Union, if the Meaningful Vote is voted down. Rosie Cooper, West Lancashire, voted Aye.

European Research Group Chairman Jacob Rees-Mogg was not especially fazed by the passing of the amendment, saying it “does not affect Brexit” because “it merely requires a motion to be tabled, not even debated”.
