EU Contingency Road Haulage

Will trucks be able to continue carrying goods between the UK and the EU if the UK leaves in case of no deal? Is there a restriction in numbers?

The Commission is proposing that operators from the United Kingdom are temporarily allowed to carry goods into the Union, provided the United Kingdom confers equivalent rights to Union road haulage operators and subject to conditions ensuring fair competition. This measure shall enter into force in case of no deal, and cease to have effect on 31 December 2019.

The Commission know that French farmers and German car makers would be badly hit by their silly games and threats. If we stand firm ( not happened so far ) we will get a good deal, if May continues to surrender they will trample all over our weak negotiators. Tell them we leave with no deal and watch them come running. Just hold your nerve Mrs May.

France itself is in dire need of an economic recovery as Macron is as bad as the worst of UK leaders of the past. Germany loses wars and wins the peace, all planned long long ago. No deal means the UK wins what the referendum offered, leave. WTO terms will suit us nicely.
