The People Of Skelmersdale Don’t Want A Railway Station?

At Council on Wednesday it’s reported that Cllr Pope claimed “The people of Skelmersdale don’t want a railway station”….which rocked the meeting, according to Cllr Neil Furey.

Cllr Furey has produced this item on his Facebook page headed “Pope and his No Hope For a New Skelmersdale Railway Station”. Cllr Furey “blasted” the Tory record on Skelmersdale and accused them of holding it back and managing its decline.

Pope apparently wanted the Motion calling for Labour’s options to be revised. Fat chance when you are the minority party that is in its own steady decline?
