How Is Your Area Changing?

Comments from the recent Aughton Parish Council meeting were critical of the developments made within the Granville Park Conservation Area. It’s changing beyond recognition with modern architecture [I use the word loosely!] providing carbuncles on the backside of the Victorian area. Trees uprooted, the road surface ruined by heavy wagons, demolition all over the place, new houses squeezed into small gardens. Now, the development of the Cockbeck pub into a Co-op store has started  with security fencing erected. And along the road there are huge developments here  here  and here …never ending destruction of a borough gem [click all the pics for details].
