West Lancashire Tory Injured In Terrorist Attack

Edge Hill University has confirmed that two students, Owen Lambert from Morecambe and Travis Frain  from Darwen were injured in London yesterday. The students were on Westminster Bridge when a car mounted the pavement and drove into pedestrians.

West Lancashire Conservatives state “Travis is currently studying History and Politics in his first year at Edge Hill University. He has worked in a number of roles in the past from Mentor to Barista, working voluntarily on Forums across a number of issues and spending a short time teaching in the Acholi Quarter Slums of Kampala, Uganda.

“Travis joined the Conservatives shortly before the 2015 Election in his home Constituency of Rossendale and Darwen, and in 2016 he went on to manage their Social Media accounts across Facebook and Twitter. He has campaigned in most General and Local Elections since then, and in the EU Referendum.

“Since moving to Ormskirk in September 2016, Travis was one of the founding members of Edge Hill University’s Conservative Association and currently serves as its President. In February the following year he also became Chairman responsible for Conservative Future across West Lancashire”.
