The Borough Council has worked to create a brand for Skelmersdale with consultants Thinkingplace and Place Board partners Hotter Shoes, the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), West Lancashire College, Edge Hill University and Fairbanks Environmental Ltd. More than 40 businesses and organisations attended the launch at West Lancashire College on the 21 September and everyone was extremely impressed with the new brand and shared enthusiasm to raise Skelmersdale’s profile.
