Is Tory Paul Greenall A Target From Within?

Yesterday Our West Lancashire Cllr Adrian Owens adriannhs blogged on the matter of two hatting, or “double jobbing” at the same level in two different boroughs. Included in his blog was a snide quotation from a West Lancashire Tory councillor that this was “Unlike other Councillors that have a full time salaried job, and then think they can give a County Council role, with Meetings during the day a full commitment”.

As Derby ward Cllr Paul Greenall meanders around his target County Division of West Lancashire East with his election leaflets he might now wonder if HE is one of those other councillors. It could of course be Aughton & Downholland Cllr Sam Currie, who apart from HIS full time salaried job as an Estate Agent in Allerton Liverpool is, like Greenall, a county council candidate, for Skelmersdale Central. But let’s face it, Currie is a paper candidate carrying a paper thin six months WLBC councillorship and not yet allowed out on his own.

Greenall continues with his Brexit and candidature greenallforcounty  tweeting. He had an enforced month off the internet and is now back in fine fettle. Just as well, he must now surely be watching his back after ousting Wally from his old safe county seat.
