New Tory Quiz Question

Is it any wonder the West Lancashire Tory party languishes in the depths of local politics. This, below, is the party website current news, 20 October 2016, on the state of the “Houses of Parliament”. Isn’t anybody checking what’s published, or do I have to do it for them?

“The West Lancashire Borough is served by the West Lancashire Parliamentary constituency. The wards of Rufford, Tarleton, Hesketh-with-Becconsall and North Meols form part of South Ribble Parliamentary constituency. Each constituency returns one MP on a simple majority. The last UK parliamentary election was held on Thursday 6 May 2010. The West Lancs constituency currently has a Labour MP. Currently the Government is a Conservative-Liberal Democrat coalition lead by Rt Hon David Cameron MP. The next General Election will [be] in May 2020”.

You just can’t get the leadership anymore!

  1. …and Conservative-Lib Dem coalition? Obviously local Tories still living in 2014!

    • Yes, that’s the only conclusion to draw, that for some reason their official website produced to provide their official party information makes this false and ridiculous claim. What is going on seems to be gross incompetence. They are having an Executive Council Meeting next Monday, surely the website issue must be addressed.
