Aughton Parish Council

…will hold its next meeting on Monday 13 June 2016, 7.30pm at the usual place, the Village Hall in Winifred Lane. Unfortunately it clashes with Belgium v Italy which might prove to be an irresistible alternative.

The agenda contains the usual business, but surprisingly no mention of APC vacancies.

Clearly of interest in planning matters is one relating to “Garages to the East of Arnian Court, Molyneux Road, Demolition of 31 lock-up garages arnian and outline application including means of access for the redevelopment of the site to provide residential use (Use Class C3) comprising up to 13 No. apartments and, in addition, up to 20 car parking spaces and associated landscaping areas. Application by Brock Carmichael Architects, a member of the Octagonpartnership.

Public question time will be allowed, at the Chairman’s discretion. Questions might arise about the forthcoming review of the Granville Park Conservation area, sometimes now referred to as the “Granville Park Destruction Area”.

  1. Well I doubt Panto Jones will be watching the football given how “backwards” he thinks Belgium is. Although I may be wrong.

    • Nice thought, given his views on Belgium were given in the Council Chamber and presumably minuted?
