Hullo Sailor At Aughton Parish Council

The new Tory Councillor for Aughton & Downholland ward was welcomed to the parish meeting by re-elected parish chairman Ian Grant tonight, with the thought that if flooding came to Aughton former Royal Navy Officer Sam Currie might be useful to the area. You never know how soon we will be needing his rowing boat after all the dalliance of his new party over the flood pumps while it was in office. rowboat

  1. Is poor old-faithful Eddie McCarthy back in his box until the next election when he’ll probably be contesting Digmoor or some other Labour stronghold? And on the subject of safe seats, does the future ex Mrs Bailey see fit to attend any Parish Council meetings or is she still representing her email inbox constituency?

    • Eddy has closed down his campaign website, it shows a discontinued message. Not sure of the marital status of any Aughton councillors and or candidates, but that is a good description you have provided of the manner of representation in that ward.
