West Lancashire Community Road Watch Bulletin

Recent activity for West Lancashire Community Road Watch included visits to Parbold and UpHolland.

At the Common in Parbold (20MPH Zone) just in one hour there were 133 vehicles checked, 32 offences all of speeding including the fastest at 39MPH.

At College Road UpHolland (30MPH Zone) in 35 minutes there were 251 vehicles checked, only 3 offences, 2 speeding and 1 seat belt.

At both locations there were no offences of using mobile phones.

Elsewhere in Lancashire this vehicle drunkincharge was apprehended and the driver was charged with drunken driving! and in Skelmersdale this vehicle noinsurancenocar was uninsured and seized. [click pics to enlarge]
